The hardness of the original water in the ideal dampening solution should be 8~12dH, the pH value of the dampening solution should be between 4.8~5.5, the conductivity should be controlled at 800~1800 microseconds, and the dampening solution temperature should be controlled. 10~15°C. At the same time, the printing operator should know that the temperature of the dampening solution is too low, which will cause the water in the sink and the pipe to condense, which will fall to the printed product during production and cause poor printing. The dampening solution needs to ensure that the ink balance can be found smoothly if the above conditions are met, otherwise it will easily destroy the balance that has been achieved.

Water and ink sticks can ensure the normal transmission of water and ink within the required hardness and pressure range. The normal water stick hardness is 24~28°C, and the ink stick can be used in the range of 28~34°C. The hardness of water and ink stick will increase with the increase of use time, so it needs to be water and ink stick every once in a while. Hardness is checked. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the normal pressure regulation of water and ink sticks. The pressure of the ink sticks is determined according to the width of the press line during the adjustment. According to the characteristics of each printing machine, the standard adjustment is carried out according to the factory requirements of the printing equipment. The adjustment pressure of the normal ink stick is about 3~4 mm, and the pressure of the water stick is adjusted within the range of 6~8 mm. The pressure is too large to increase the wear of the water and the ink stick, and also affect the water and ink transfer.

Improper printing adjustment is often a major cause of ink imbalance. In the normal adjustment, the amount of water and ink should be adjusted in time according to the amount of ink on the printing plate. However, many operators often only adjust the amount of ink and neglect to adjust the amount of printing water, especially from large ink printing to small. It is easier to ignore when printing ink, which makes it difficult to achieve water and ink balance. In addition, a good printing environment is the premise to ensure good prints. The normal printing environment requires temperature control at 24~26°C and humidity control between 55%~65%, which will greatly help the ink transfer and water volume control. .
